John Francis Golden

John F (FRANK) Golden, 86, of Lewis Center, passed away on June 11, 2022. He was born on February 8, 1936, in Columbus, to the late James and Catherine Golden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by In-laws Dick and Isabel Longenbaker; infant son, John F. Golden; brother-in-laws, Jack Cavendish, Tom (Carol) Longenbaker, Tom Moore, and Tom Miller.

Frank attended St. Francis grade school then Aquinas high school, upon graduation Frank started work as a union electrician ( IBEW local 683 ) receiving his 65 year pin recently. Frank loved to work around the house on remodeling projects and landscaping. There was nothing Frank could not fix, he taught his sons the tricks of the trades. Frank was a member of the Fly Town club. Most of all Frank will be remembered for the love he had for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frank taught his boys how to be Men, husbands, fathers and Men of faith. This will be Frank’s greatest legacy.

FRANK will be greatly missed by his wife, Donna Golden; children, Brian (Leesa Younkin) Golden, Bruce (Dawna) Golden, Thomas Golden and Shawn Golden; grandchildren, Jessica (Andrew) Martin, Drew (Nickie) Golden, Bryce (Kate) Golden, Casey Golden, Kellie (Keith) Ciccone, Ashley (Tyler) Jones, Danielle, Connor, Collin, and Cole Golden; great grandchildren, Avery and Henry Golden, Blair Martin, and two on the way; siblings, James (Pat) Golden, JoAnn Cavendish, Mary Ellen Miller, Nancy (Bill) Demidovich, and Judy Moore; and numerous extended nieces and nephews. Close family friends and special neighbors Sam & Carol Lipari, Dee & Mark Rawdon.

A visitation for Frank will be held Monday June 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Schoedinger Funeral Home-Worthington. 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, followed by a prayer service at 6:30 PM. A funeral mass will be held 10am Tuesday June 21, 2022 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. 9633 E. State Route 37, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. Followed by a luncheon at the Church.
