Joanne F. Palumbo

Joanne F. Palumbo (nee Piskac). Beloved wife of James Palumbo, loving mother of Perry (Barb) Palumbo and Pam Turner, dearest grandmother of Jennifer (Mike), Jeremy (Sierra), Patrick, Andrew, Julianna, and Joy, and great grandmother of Sophia. Also survived by sister Marilyn Olsen of North Olmsted, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Passed away on April 15, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio at the OSU Wexner Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Joanne was the daughter of Yaro (Jerry) Piskac and Lillian Podojil. She was born in Cleveland and lived most of her life in Maple Heights and Brecksville. Member of St. Basil Catholic Church for many years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 7. Cremation. Internment in All Saints Cemetery, Northfield. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice.
