Elizabeth Irish Greve

Elizabeth ‘Liz” Irish Greve, 47, of Columbus passed away on November 8, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 15, 1975 in Leominster Massachusetts to Charles and Ellen (Jenkins) Irish. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Greve.

Liz was a dedicated educator, inclusion specialist and leader for more than twenty years. She led the inclusion department for The Learning Spectrum, where she was an active advocate for students and families affected by autism. She held a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Special Education from The Ohio State University.

Liz was an active member of St. Michael Church, an avid reader, and enjoyed live music and traveling. Liz was a constant source of faith, strength, connection, and fun for her family and friends. Her Catholic faith and love of family guided everything she did in life.

In addition to her parents, Liz will be greatly missed by her husband, John Greve; children, James, Colleen, Mary Claire, and Sean Greve; brother, David (Kathryn) Irish; and numerous extended family and close family friends.

A visitation for Liz will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 North High Street, Worthington, OH 43085.
