Diane Foster Ray

Diane Was Born on June 14, 1935 in Columbus, OH. She was the daughter of the late Mansel H. Foster and Delores A. Myers Foster.

Diane Earned her bachelor’s degree in Anatomy, and a second degree in education from Ohio State University. Diane was a school teacher for a while. She also worked in various libraries, and for her son’s office.

Diane had many interest, including reading, antiques, history, archeology and geology.

Diane was married to Richard Schell Ray. Diane cared for her husband for many years, before he passed away in 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her step-mother, Ruth Talbott Foster, her sisters; Marilyn Sutch, and Carol Lynn Frisbey, and her son-in-law Alan R. Ballman Jr.

Diane is survived by her daughters; Kathleen Ballman, and Elizabeth Ray, son, David Ray and his wife Sharrie, grandchildren; Christopher, Nicholas and Brandilyn Ray, and a niece and nephew, Robin and Randy Sutch.

Family will receive friends Saturday November 5, 2022, from 9AM-10AM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 6699 N. High Street, with a funeral service to follow at 10AM, with burial at Forest Home cemetery in Hicksville, Oh a later date. Please share a memory or send condolences to Diane’s family.
