Yvonne Carlece Brown

Mrs. Yvonne Carlece Brown, 65, of Duluth, GA passed away peacefully on November 10, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Yvonne was born on August 3, 1952 in Spanish Town St. Catherine, Jamaica to the late Carlton and Elizabeth Bernard Brown.

Yvonne was educated in Spanish Town and from there she worked for the Government of Jamaica.

After she moved to the United States, she lived in Chicago for many years.

While living in Duluth, GA, Yvonne worked two full time jobs at Target, as a Department Manager and at Kroger. She enjoyed gardening, music and cooking Jamaican food. She was well loved by everyone who knew her and was truly an angel on Earth.

Yvonne leaves behind her son, Richard Davis; grandsons, Richard Davis, Jr, Caleb Davis; brother, Carlton Brown; three nieces; three nephews; seven aunts; four uncles and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Yvonne’s memory to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
