William Donald "Don" Shepherd was born May 12, 1943 in Savannah, Georgia to James Roy Shepherd and Mary Evelyn Hudgens.
Don was a graduate of North Cobb High School and attended Reinhardt College. An Army veteran, he retired after a 42 year career with Lockheed Martin. He was an avid golfer who loved sports and travel.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and wife Aida Shepherd.
Don is survived by his life partner of 29 years Christel Schmidt, his daughters Melisa Shepherd, Nadia Cunningham, his brother Bobby Shepherd and half brother Billy Stewart.
A Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc., 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188.
