He was born in 1943 in Astoria, NY and lived in Glen Cove, New York. He graduated from Glen Cove High School in 1960. After graduation he volunteered at the Glen Cove fire department for 10 years. He married Karla Klumpp in 1970, moving to Marietta, Georgia in 1980. He was a very successful regional Sales Manager for numerous glass businesses. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his three sons, Billy, Teddy, and Erik; wife Karla Klumpp Berger; granddaughters, Abigail and Karlee; two sisters Joanne Dunn and Carol Paul. His sisters still reside in Glen Cove.
The memorial service will be held at Woodstock Funeral Home in Woodstock, Georgia on April 27th, 2011 at 2:00p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday.
