A Man Who Walks with God Always Gets to His Destination
Vincent Price was a man who walked with God. Only passion can describe his pursuit of the things of God; passionate in prayer, worshipping on the trumpet, loving God’s word, and his passionate desire to see God’s people rise to their potential in Christ; even passionate in golf. Vincent understood that real strength comes by humility on his knees, boldness in the spirit and abandonment in praise. Vincent was a man obsessed with the relentless pursuit of the presence of the Lord. He was an inspiration and encouragement to all who had the pleasure of knowing him, whether at church, at work, or at home. No one knows how many lives were touched through his life. His legacy lives on in the strength of his wife and children and a host of family, friends and acquaintances. We will all miss his smile, the twinkle in his eye, his infectious laughter, the sound of his trumpet, and of course his voice praising his God. Hallelujah! Glory!
Vince’s last journal entry: May 2011
I saw the end of my life. There are only 2 things I wish I had done more of … Pray and Play my trumpet.
