A funeral mass will held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at St. Peter’s Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton, GA with Woodstock Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Evans was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Robert Wendell and Mary Francis Linder Johnson.
Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her son Deane Evans in 2009.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Mr. Oliver “Lee” Evans, Roswell, GA; two sons, Kevin Evans (Gail), Jay Evans (Cindy); daughter, Heidi Symanski (David); daughter-in-law, Kathy Evans; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her beloved dog, Elliot.
