Steven Leigh Hines, 68, of Canton, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at his residence. Steve was born on July 24, 1952 to James and Juanita (McDaniel) Hines. He grew up in Huntington, West Virginia and attended Marshall University.
Steve was a gentle giant. His laughter was contagious, and he never met a stranger and he was loved by ALL. Steve loved fishing, model railroads, and his animals.
Steve is survived by his wife of 42 years, Polly Necessary Hines; daughter, Courtney Hines; niece, Deidra Ross; nephew, Derick Ross. Steve was also blessed by many wonderful extended family members who thought the world of him, as well.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Bo Hines, and his beloved grandparents, JD and Ola McDaniel.
Steve’s family and friends will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
