Steve Anderson

Steve was a graduate of Sprayberry High School. While there, he discovered a great love for music and sung in the Ambassador Chorus under Dr. Mitchell. After high school, he attended Kennesaw State University and Chattahoochee Tech. He worked for many years at the Cobb County Superior Court and most recently as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor at Airgas, Kennesaw.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family at their family cabin, fishing and just relaxing on the lake. He was an avid sports fan and cheered for the Atlanta Braves, UGA Football and the Atlanta Falcons. He also enjoyed going to the beach. Steve loved to play pool and for many years, he was a member of the APA. Steve was a loving husband and father and will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Marlo Anderson; daughter, Lisa Abernathy and her husband, Matt; grandchildren, Madison and Taylor Abernathy; step-children, Sean Carson and Shelby Schroyer; mother, Dorothy Louise Griffin Anderson; and brother, Ronnie Anderson, Mike Anderson (Melinda), Terry Anderson (Marsha) and Scott Anderson (Lisa). His father, Donald William Anderson, preceded Steve in death.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 5-7pm at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the family to assist with final expenses. You may give directly to Marlo.
