Ruth Ann was born on June 29, 1923 in Norton, VA to the late David and Bessie Orender. She grew up during the depression era and this helped to shape her strong work ethic. During WWII, she did her part by working in the factories. Throughout her life, Ruth Ann also enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveling. She was a very loving mother. Her family will miss her strength and outgoing nature.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Roger Stallard and his wife, Stella; grandchildren, Lieu, David, Jeff, Katherine and Stephanie; and great-grandchildren, Phong, Fletcher, Willow and Lydia. Her son, Richard Stallard, preceded her in death.
