Paul B. Granville, 53 of Woodstock, GA was that hero who was called home 2/21/2020.
Paul was born on October 13, 1966 in Lombard, IL. He was raised in Simpsonville, SC where he was a graduate of Hillcrest High School. He went on to attend college at The Citadel in Charleston, SC and later moved to Georgia where he has resided in Woodstock for the last 28 years. He was in the Automotive Industry for over 30 years and was the manager at Pep Boys in Marietta GA for over 10 years.
He was predeceased by his mother and father Bernard and Dorothy Granville. He leaves behind a wife, April Dawn Granville, a son Justin Granville (Madonna), a daughter Alysia Smith (Mitchell), a grandson Elijah Smith. A sister, Elaine Davis (Ben), and a brother Craig Granville, three step-sons Charles Austin, Graham and Joshua and a mother in law, Diane Kellett, that he adored. Many family, friends, customers and employees will be left to carry on his memory.
The family believes this says it all; A major piece of our family was stripped away from us. He was not only a father, grandfather, husband and friend; but also a warm, caring and kind soul. A selfless man that showed nothing but whole hearted love to all of those around him.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm, Sunday 2/23 with a service immediately following at Woodstock Funeral Home 8855 Main Street Woodstock GA 30188.
