Nancy Cox Eggleston

Mrs. Nancy Cox Eggleston, 80, of Canton, GA passed away April 11, 2021. Nancy was born July 27, 1940 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Ernest B and Nancy Killian Cox. Nancy grew up in Rock Hill, where she was a Debutant. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from Limestone College. Nancy taught grade school in Alexandria, VA until she met and married the love of her life James. She then devoted herself to James and their daughter.

Nancy was a loving and doting wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family, traveling and spending time with family. Nancy will be remembered for the way she carried herself with poise and class. She will be immensely missed by her loving family.

Left to cherish Nancy’s memory is her beloved husband of 50 years, James Eggleston; daughter, Jan Sacco and her husband Steven; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley and James; and brother, Robert H. Cox. Nancy was preceded in death by siblings, Julia, Ben and Martha.

She will be laid to rest at Edgemoor Cemetery, Edgemoor, SC on April 24, 2021 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation in memory of Nancy to The American Red Cross, https://www.redcross.org/
