Mike Pinkerton

Mike Pinkerton, 48, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away July 21, 2018. Mike was born in Misawa, Japan on February 23, 1970. After graduating from Rogers High School, Mike followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the United States Air Force where he served for eight years. Mike enjoyed a career as a Network Analyst for HERE Technologies. He was an avid gamer affectionately known as Darnalak. Through gaming, Mike met his best friends, with whom he enjoyed traveling and holidays. Mike was also a fitness enthusiast and encouraged others to join him in the pursuit of personal excellence. While many may claim to be the life of the party, Mike was the party. He was outgoing, boisterous and full of life. He was unfiltered and no one ever questioned where they stood with him. Mike was deeply loved by so many and will be immensely missed. He leaves behind his wife and partner of 17 wonderful years, Lexi Pinkerton; son, Trey Phillips; daughters, Kelsey and Kasey Phillips; father, Donald Pinkerton; sister, Amy Pinkerton; many loving lifelong friends; and much-loved dogs, Rommel, Rosie, Melvin and Xander. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Della Pinkerton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 4-8pm at Woodstock Funeral Home.
