Mary Frances Griffin

Mary Frances (Fran) Griffin, age 64, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017. Fran was born on January 23, 1953 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to the late Charles and Mary Sealover.

She was married to the love of her life, Lyn, for 41 ½ years. Fran was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she was a life-long resident prior to moving to Woodstock.

Fran was a dedicated paralegal for 42 years prior to her retirement in 2010.

Her selflessness shown in every aspect of her life, from her love of family and friends to her passion for gardening and animals.

She is survived by her husband, Lyn; son, Robert (Karla) Bissonnette, of Palm Bay, Florida; daughter, Christine (Wayne) Schmidt, of Woodstock; sisters, Elizabeth (James) Orris, of Holy Lake Ranch, Texas, and Carol Shaw, of Hobe Sound, Florida; grandchildren, Christopher (Denise) Malkoski, of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Holly (Kevin) Morrison, Watertown, New York, Heather (Marisa) Pipkins, of Hinesville, Georgia, Jake Griffin and Callie Schmidt, both of Woodstock; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jaden Malkoski, of Albert Lea, Minnesota and Joshua and Sylus Morrison, of Watertown, New York, many nieces, nephews and extended family members along with many loving friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 20, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Timothy Lutheran Church, 556 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, Georgia, 30188. Reception to follow at the church.
