Linda Sue Hilligoss

Linda was born on July 2, 1947 in Monmouth, IL to the late Bob and Evelyn Artcher. After graduating from high school, Linda married the love of her life, Jim and they have enjoyed 55 wonderful years together. Shortly after their marriage, they started their family and Jim began college. Linda took great pride in taking care of her children and supporting her husband throughout her life. She was an amazing mother and would become a loving and doting grandmother. Some of Linda’s many hobbies include playing card games with numerous card clubs, playing and watching tennis, watching college and professional football (her favorite teams are Alabama [Roll Tide!] and the Atlanta Falcons), traveling and decorating. Her outgoing spirit and contagious laughter will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jim Hilligoss; son, Todd Hilligoss and his wife, Lisa; daughter, Nicole Wolf and her husband, Ben; grandchildren, Lyndsey, Nate, Jackson and Lila; sister, Terry Miller; brothers, Mark and Randy Artcher; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Kylie, Kilani, Austin, Hannah, Andi and Shannon; and sister-in-law, Nicki Hilligoss.

A service to celebrate her life will be Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Following the service, the family will host a reception at The Tavern at Towne Lake. All are invited to join them and share fond remembrances of Linda. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation, Inc. (atlantacancercarefoundation.org) in memory of Linda.
