I will always remember her voice saying "ever so grateful" no matter how hard or trying her circumstances might be. Her faith inspired me then while visiting her during the pandemic but only through the window and she would still be smiling. But even more now after she is gone because of her spiritual legacy. I was just a friend of hers from Kennesaw United Methodist Church. My condolences to all the family.

I remember visiting Aunt Sara's house many time as a child.  Your mama was always so sweet and welcomed our family into their home on Oakdale.  Leta and my dad, Harry, always enjoyed cutting up together.  They had a strong cousin bond.   Over the years Leta stayed in contact with my mom, Flora, and they enjoyed each others friendship.  Leta was truly a woman of faith.  Now she is rejoicing in heaven with her family.  God blessed her with a long and fulfilling life.   She is smiling down on all you now and I know you will continue to make her proud.   Debra 

We were blessed and thankful that Mom celebrated her 99th birthday this past November. Mom persevered through many life challenges and has shown others about her strong faith, hope and love. Although Mom was bedridden after she fell and fractured her hip 2 years ago she always greeted us with her beautiful smile and radiated her love and sweet spirit. We will miss our precious Mother but know she is rejoicing up in heaven … singing, praising the Lord and she might even do a jitterbug! We thank the Lord for blessing us with a Mom who taught her family many lessons about the values that are important in life. 

We will miss Leita at Legacy-Ridge!  She was a pleasure to know.  A sweet, kind Christian lady!  Love and prayers to her daughter and son and family!  God bless you!

We went to visit grandma on Mother’s Day during the pandemic and she read every card that we sent her to us through the window.  That smile. 

So sorry to hear of our friend passing. Although we have not seen each other much recently,, we were good friends for years when Leta lived in Hayesville and attended Oak Forest United Methodist Church and was our seat mate every Sunday. We spent many evenings enjoying her company at her home and attended many events together..

I remember when Donald introduced me to her. She was a bundle of joy, who's smile lit up the whole room. I remember when she said that I was part of the family since Donald and I were best friends. RIP and you'll be missed.
