Kenneth Charles (KC) Roberts born December 27th 1949 in Youngstown, Ohio passed away on January 23rd 2024 in Woodstock, Georgia peacefully with his wife Linda and son Kyle by his side. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School 1967. For twelve years KC swam competitively and excelled in backstroking. He went to the 1968 Summer Olympics and swam in the trials as a backstroker. He completed a course from Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania in perfusion technology in 1972. Worked at the University of Kansas Medical Center as a cardiovascular perfusionist and also at the Miami Heart Institute on Miami Beach, Florida. He moved to Atlanta in 1974 and was a perfusionist at Windy Hill Hospital and also St. Joseph’s Hospital. He later developed his company The Vascular Laboratories and won the Small Business of the Year award for the North Cobb area in 1991. He developed a passion for magic and joined the Georgia Magic Club Chapter 9 in Atlanta and received the Magician of the Year award in 1985.
Surviving as well as his wife Linda Roberts, are son Kyle Roberts and his wife Sarah Roberts, granddaughter Helen Roberts and grandson Henry Roberts, brothers Dennis Bennett, Gary Roberts, Ron Lefebre, and sister Judith Roberson.
The memorial service will be held at Transfiguration Catholic Church 1815 Blackwell Rd, Marietta, GA 30066 on Friday February 2nd at 2pm with a reception to follow.
