Jordan Ray Allen, age 40, of Concord, NC unexpectedly passed away on February 10, 2023. To know him was to love him. His energy was magnetic and he captivated everyone with his storytelling and laughter. He never passed up an opportunity to devote his focus on his girls, while also creating as many moments with friends and coworkers. Our lives are richer to have received his BIG hugs and unconditional love for everyone. Many have shared that he was their “best” friend. He knew no stranger, always thinking of others and helping where he could. Jordan was a graduate of South View High School in Hope Mills, NC and also Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. After years as a successful Sous and Executive Chef, he chose to switch careers to have more hours at home with his girls. He climbed the ladder in Construction Project Management with companies in the Atlanta area, and as of late as an Account Executive with The Outform Group based out of Chicago. He was a one of a kind businessman developing many innovative products and successes. A woodworker, tinkerer, chef, beekeeper, singer, and artist - he could build or repair anything you presented to him. Jordan is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Pam as well as his beautiful young daughters, Madeline Elaine and Olivia Noelle. He also leaves behind his father Bill and wife Donna, his father-in-law Greg and wife Cheryl, his Aunt Paige and her husband Carroll and sons Wade and Wyatt, his great grandparents Judy and Harold Huffman, extended family and friends too many to name. Jordan was preceded in death by his mother Pamela Huffman Allen. A private ceremony with family will be held in the High Country, NC as well as a larger celebration of life open to all in the greater Charlotte area. Details will be announced soon.
