Jonathan Mark Mason

Jonathan Mark Mason passed away on August 12th 2022 at the age of 64 following a sudden illness. Mark was born in Nashville, Tennessee and resided in Woodstock, Georgia. He was the son of William Thomas and Billie Ruth Mason. Mark was a gifted and hilarious storyteller, an excellent listener, and instant friends with just about anyone he met.

Mark is preceded in death by the love of his life Margaret (Montano) Mason. Mark is survived by his son, William Cipriano Mason, his daughter-in-law Danielle Mason and his two adored grandchildren, Sloan Cipriano Mason and June Delaney Mason. He is also survived by his mother Billie Ruth Mason, his sisters Melissa (Dennis) Morrison, Melanie (Trey) Callihan, Martye (Mike) Smith; his nephews Jeremy and Jonathan Morrison; Sean, Matthew and Jesse Callihan along with their beloved wives and children. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews on Margaret’s side.

Following a long career in the military, Mark and Margaret settled in Woodstock, Georgia in 1999 and both enjoyed long careers with Whole Foods. The friendships they made along the way meant so much to Mark. He will be missed by all those who knew him because of his gentle spirit and helpful nature.

A visitation for Jonathan will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188. A committal service will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114.
