John Ronald Holcomb

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday November 8, 2013 at Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery with Woodstock Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 2-5 P.M and 6-9 P.M. tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Holcomb was born February 24, 1939 in Jasper, GA to the late Herbert David and Virginia Price Holcombe. Mr. Holcomb served his country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years. He retired as Master Sergeant.

Mr. Holcomb is survived by his wife, Sarah Ruth Holcomb, Acworth, GA; two sons, Tim Holcomb, Woodstock, GA., and John David Holcomb (Kim), Ellijay, GA; one daughter, Anita Tucker (John), Suwanee, GA; two sisters, Brenda Oliver (Jim) Jasper, GA., and Jean Wingo, Jasper, GA; one brother, Kenneth David Holcombe (Carol), Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Jake Edison Tucker, Suwanee, GA and Staff Sergeant Josh Metcalf, Valdosta, GA; several nieces and nephews.
