Mrs. Hill was a native of Warsaw, Georgia - now Johns Creek, GA. She was a 2nd generation graduate of Milton High School, class of 1969. She was retired from AIG Insurance where she was a claims agent. She was a member and served on the board of both the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve & Heritage Center and the Killer Creek Ladies of Harley. An avid crafter, she enjoyed doing craft shows until her health no longer permitted her doing so. She loved to travel, and especially adored Hawaii.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her Father, Jessie James Rogers; Mother, Lillian Long Rogers Dockery (David); Brother, Johnny Rogers; Sister, Carroll Rogers & Granddaughter, Alyssa Ritch.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Hill; her daughter Jodie Hill (Kevin); daughter-in-law Krista Dove (Brian); Grandchildren - Bobby Ritch, Ashton Ritch, Kaden Hill, Baxter Dove, Bishop Dove and step-grandchildren Camron Vermillion and Emily Vermillion; Brother, James Rogers (Mary), Brother in-law, Steve Hill (Lynn), Nephew, Glynn Rogers (Cathy), Nieces, Lauren Hill & Emily Bradley (Landen).
The family will receive friends and family at the Woodstock Funeral Home Saturday June 1, 2024, 5:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held in Mrs. Hill's childhood church Warsaw, located at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center, 9770 Autrey Mill Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022, (678)366-3511 at 3pm on Sunday, June 2, 2024, followed by interment at the Historic Warsaw Cemetery, 10030 Medlock Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30097; Brian Dove will officiate the services.
