Edith “Mama“ Cook passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the age of 85. She lived in Georgia for 60 years before moving to Alabama. She enjoyed fishing, reading, doing word searches, and her animals. Especially her dog Bruno. Let’s not forget about her scotch snuff.
Mama’s survived by her children Mark (Deborah) Cook, Rose Cook, Ann (Richard) Shields, and Savannah (Gregg) Quisenberry. Her 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, and two brothers Jimmy and Joe.
She’s now in heaven with her husband LC “Red”, Brothers TJ and Catfish, her daughters Nancy, Judy, and Marsha, son Tommy, son-in-law Steve and her three grandkids Kia, Mary, and Alex.
If you knew mama she was a very selfless woman, strong willed, had a heart of gold, and always had endless faith.
