Joseph Edward (Ed) Roberts, age 78 of Woodstock, Georgia passed away on September 7, 2014 following a brief illness. Ed was a wonderful man who loved life and enjoyed his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowiing him. He is survived by his daughter, Elaine Stephens and her husband James of Woodstock, granddaughters, Alana Saporiti and her husband Gianni of Sandy Springs and Susannah Stephens of Woodstock. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 12:00 pm at the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Jim Law officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at 2:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
