Daniel Hedrick Kansky

Daniel Kansky, 20, of Woodstock, Georgia, was unexpectedly taken home to Heaven February 22, 2023. Daniel was born January 9, 2003 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA to David and Ruth Ann Kansky of Woodstock GA. Daniel is survived by his Parents, older brother David A Kansky and twin sister Katie Kansky. John Hedrick (Kitty) uncle, of Woodstock, GA. Laura (Jay) aunt Rachel (cousin), of New York, Mary (Jeff) aunt of California and Milan John (Rosie) uncle Alexis, Miliana (cousins) of California.

Daniel was a 2021 graduate of River Ridge High School in Woodstock, GA. He loved his motorcycle and was preparing to move to Orlando, FL to attend Universal Technical Institute to pursue his dream of becoming a Certified Motorcycle Mechanic.

Daniel was an outgoing, fun loving, athletic guy. Starting at age 6 he played baseball in little league, All Stars, Travel Ball, and High School baseball. He was also part of Cherokee Charter’s basketball team that won back-to-back county championships in 6th and 7th grade. Dan loved bass fishing with his fancy baitcaster rod and reel spending hours at local ponds and lakes with his friends. The boy was amazing casting with that rod and reel. Above all, Dan had an incredible personality and charisma to make many friends easily and be loved by so many. He touched numerous lives in his short 20 years. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be March 11, 2023, at Mountain View UMC 2300 Jamerson Rd, Marietta, GA at 1pm. Come and share your memories of Dan with all of us. Come casual in jeans, sneakers, hats. No funeral attire! Daniel wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!
