Charles Anthony Lindsey

Charles A. Lindsey, age 55, of Marietta, Georgia passed away October 21, 2019 following a short illness. Charles was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Charles was always a kind and friendly person with a gentle manner. He was also a master in the Jedi Arts. He enjoyed Japanese culture, movies and food. He was a big fan of cartoons and an avid comic book collector. As many people knew, Charles was a huge Bulldawg fan. He loved his Dawgs so much that he couldn't watch the games. They made him nervous so he would keep himself busy in the basement. Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lindsey, brother James Lindsey, Jr. and sisters, Leslie Lindsey and Debra Lindsey. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Lindsey, daughter, Lauren Lindsey, father, James Lindsey and nephews, Adam Lindsey, Alex Lindsey and Andrew Lindsey. A Celebration of Life service for Charles will be held Tuesday October 29,2019 at 1:00 pm at the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Wade Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to AFLAC at Children's Health of Atlanta or the Cobb County Humane Society.
