Mom I love you so much... You were a wonderful mother. God couldn't have gave me a better one. I know you are with our maker and you are in good hands. I am gonna miss you so much 

Aunt Bonnie i will always remember your laugh.  I laughed with you many times when i would visit you and Uncle Buddy for the summer when your kids were young.
 You always had a way of making us feel like everything was going to be ok.  There is nobody now to hold us during a family crisis or funeral and give us comfort and strength. You were a remarkable Woman and i will never forget you. Love always.

My earliest memory of Aunt Bonnie I was a very young girl. I remember being dressed up and having my hair done and feeling pretty. She took me for the day and we rode on the city bus to downtown Nashville. We went to her work at a department store and I remember walking and thinking she is so pretty and ‘fancy’. Having seven brothers and sisters you sometimes would get lost in the mix but she made me feel so special that day. After Momma died she was always there for us. To see her smile and feel her arms around you made you feel so comforted. You couldn’t help but feel Momma there too. I will always have loving memories when I think of Aunt Bonnie.

My beautiful Aunt Bonnie, what an honor to be named after such an amazing woman.  Some of my fondest memories were when you and mom got together and told us stories of your childhood. I loved hearing you both laugh together while reminiscing about the past. You and mom were like two peas in a pod.  I remember feeling heartbroken when you and Uncle Buddy moved to Ga.  As long as you were here, I felt like a piece of mom was still with us.  You always wanted the best for all your nieces and nephews and loved us as a second mom. You will forever be a part of me.  Give mom and dad a hug for me.  Love you always! 

My first memory of you was when I was probably about 3 years old. You and Margie getting on the school bus and not wanting to go. Another memory Is you maybe around 16. You were beautiful. You would Always go to the bathroom with your little makeup bag and put it on. When we lived in Chicago you always watched Lawrence Welk, lol us kids hated it. Did you ever tell the kids That you and I were elevator Operators at the Sudicom building in Nashville and we met young Dolly Parton? I love like a sister and will miss you dearly. Until we meet again my precious big "sister "

Nanny, you are my pride and joy, my light and my laughter, my reason to be excited at the beginning of each new season, and my inspiration to stay different. Everything I know about a garden started with you, my first memories of roses were you teaching me how to clip them. You loved your fried potatoes and green tomatoes and getting your hands dirty. My favorite moments with you were quiet, changing out a flower pot or watching the simplest bird at the feeder over our morning cup of coffee, just the two of us. You understood me in a way only few can, and always folded my laundry even when I told you not to. The hours and hours of stories you’ve shared with me about your childhood are hand stitched with love into the fabric of my memory forever. From milking the cows in Arizona, to taking trains to Chicago, to starting your family in Tennessee, and making Georgia your home, you were never idle. You loved my paintings and believed in my dreams, and I will always be myself because of you. I’ll keep my pockets stuffed with Werther’s Originals and a stick of doublemint in my purse, just in case.

 Thank you for being such an influential woman in my life. You taught me that no matter what challenges I faced in life to move forward with grace and love. I am so grateful that you had the chance to meet Baby Archer. You are loved by so many. The children and I will cherish our time and memories with you forever.

You were my best friend, my partner for everything. Things as simple as a car ride down the road and a cup of coffee hurt because I associate everything with you. We did everything together from rollercoaster rides to teaming up on cards against to humanity to make the funniest cards. I got to see a different side of you in these past 9 years, I was able to see a goofy, carefree, strong, beautiful woman love life and I am so grateful to be part of that. You helped me learn to love life and take opportunity while I am young and showed me that it doesn’t even end there. I hope to be even half the woman you are and will try to live the rest of my days in honor of you and life you lived!

Mother the house does not feel the same without you here. Stevie your ole wall eyes is so sad without you. When I walk past your room my heart hurts. We would argue but we would have fun. Mom everyone thought dad had the sense of humor, but it was you that made me laugh the most. I will miss our adventures the 3 mosquitoes as you called us hitting the road finding a new adventure. You sure did love to ride and was always up for an adventure. I will cherish those moments forever. Ethan keeps asking to go in your room and hold your hand. A piece of me left with you that day. I pray I can always honor you and continue to make you proud. I will try with everything I am to fulfill your wish of the family staying together.  Mom I know you are at peace and everything and everyone you once loved is with you that brings some joy to my heart, but the selfish part of me wishes I could talk with you one more time. Till we see each other again I love your guts ever ever so so much more than all the grains of sand in all the universes!

What a beautiful legacy of family you and dad made. The memories I have of you as a grandmother are the sweetest anyone could have. You loved us all, and you shaped who we are today. You’ll always be a part of me,  and your family traditions will be carried on to honor your love for family.

Nanny, the woman with the beautiful soul will forever live on in our hearts with each random song we belt out singing, with each random road trip we take, and each cup of coffee we drink.

Bonnie aka Nanny was the matriarch of her family. In her last years of life she had the spirit of child, always ready for adventure, and never wanting to sit still for too long. Nanny had a way of making the whole room light up when she shared a story, smiled, or laughed. Although the loss of her husband Buddy was difficult, I witnessed an awakening in her soul that I feel blessed to have experienced first hand. She began living without boundaries and not taking the small moments for granted. The loss of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend will always leave an empty space in our hearts but knowing that she will be there to greet us when our time comes brings me peace. 

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Buddy Tidwell. Bonnie was a loving mother to 5 children Leeann Logue, Tracey Smith, McGavock Neal Tidwell Jr, Marjorie Seaman and Joe Spurlock. Bonnie was an exceptional grandmother aka Nanny to 12 grandchildren Vince Tidwell, Cheyenne Clark, Amber Tidwell, Shelby Meatyard, Heather Goosman, Koty Meatyard, Haleigh Logue, Robert Morris, Stanlee Logue, Nick Tidwell, Madisyn Jenkins, and Buddy Smith. Bonnie had 14 great grandchildren known to some as Nubby. Bonnie loved her family and loved to garden. Bonnie will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
