Bobby G. Slaven, age 72, of Marietta, GA passed away August 30, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Frankie Lucy Slaven daughters, Lisha Smith, Kimberly Ann Hedge and Bobbie Ann Slaven, sons, Larry Slaven, James A. Slaven and Paul D. Slaven, sisters, Thelma Winchester, Reba Watson and Pauline Anderson, brothers, Ron and Don Slaven, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Addison Silva and Johnny Crow officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at noon .The family will receive friends Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
