Barbara Ann Trott

Barbara was born on April 10, 1936 in Highland Park, MI to the late William and Margaret Hague.

She graduated from Cooley High School and attended Michigan State University where she earned an Associates degree. Barbara earned a Bachelor’s Degree at Kennesaw State University. She enjoyed a career spanning over 20 years in the Human Resource Department at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) where she was beloved by all.

Barbara was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. There is nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family. There are no words to describe what she meant to her family. Her gentle spirit, kindness, generous heart and warm smile will be missed terribly by the those that knew and loved her.

Barbara enjoyed and was interested in people. She made new friends easily and kept her old friends close through life. Her interests like her friends were numerous. She was a member of ELM, The Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing cards regularly with her friends. She loved books, water aerobics and knitting.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J Trott; grandson, Charlie Trott; and sister, Dorothy Hague. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bill Trott (Lisa), Bruce Trott (Linda), Robyn Smith (Scott) and Bob Trott (Felicia); grandchildren, Janeale (Jason), Jillian, Matthew, Missy (Kevin), Dylan and Joshua; and great-grandchildren, Natalie, Dakota, Coleton, Cheyenne (and their father, Adam), Brilei and Presslei (and their mother, Amy).

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 3-6pm at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home for family.
