Yolanda, who loved to be called Mom and Nana, departed her loving family on June 26, 2021. Yolanda was born on April 18, 1931 in Corona, NY to Maria and Giovanni Bocchino. She was the youngest of five, sister to Michael, Phil, Rose and Andy.
Yolanda was a caring Mother to Joseph, Mary, Ann and John and “Nana” to Gabriella, Olivia, Gianna, Sophie and Alex. She raised them with love and devotion alongside her husband Jasper.
Yolanda was so loved because she loved so well. She brought a brightness to every gathering, no matter small or large. She made friends easily with her warm heart and joyful laugh, always making everyone around her feel welcome.
Yolanda will be greatly missed, not only by her loving family, but also by her many longtime friends and neighbors. Please join us in celebrating her amazing life.
