Not a day goes by that I don’t miss you, Steve. I love you and death hasn’t changed that. Your Wizard statue has become my little totem for you and I greet him nightly, touching his pointed hat fondly in memory of you. You were a firm believer that you had lived many lives. I would consider myself beyond fortunate if our paths cross again, in this one or the next.

We’ll meet again, don’t know where don’t know when, but I know we’ll meet again some sunny day. 

It’s hard to believe you have been gone for 2 years now. As there is grief with you no longer here, there is the joy of the memories we shared. You were a loving father who took care of us.  We miss and love you.

Happy Birthday Dad! It is hard to believe it has been a year since you left us. Today would have been your 68th birthday. I had Chicken Parm in honor of you and all that you accomplished for us. You may be gone, but your here in my heart and memories; always will be. I miss you so much and love you Dad! Happy Birthday! 

One year. It is surreal to even contemplate. You were were a loving father that took care of us all and went out of your way to help us. You worked longed hours. You achieved a Masters Degree in Math and devoted your time into many of your students. You had humor that was unique, not all quite got it, but me and William got it. You loved us and we loved you so much. The loss is felt even to this day and will be for the rest of my life. I miss our Skype calls, our conversations were some times short and long, but we managed to talk and that what mattered. I’ll always love you and always be thankful that the Lord will gave you as my father. I love and miss you.

Dear Dad, 

It is hard to believe that in 11 days it will be a year since you passed off this mortal coil. It is still surreal to me and to mom that you are gone. I still stare at my iMac, waiting for you to Skype me so we could have our weekend chats online. I miss our chats. You were loving a father to me, William, and Cathy. You went out of your way to help us when we needed it. I will always love you.

Today is May 10th. I wish you a Happy  Heavenly Birthday, but know your presence will be missed at IS 145, especially as my fellow math colleague.  I  remember your long math problems you would put on the board to challenge your students. I also respected how you did not feel intimidated to speak your mind.
I pray for peace and comfort for your family and friends. RIP.

You will be remembered for being a educator, you never knew how much of a inspiration you been too my brother & my life, you meant the world to my aunt and uncle, you we’re in hubris life. You seemed to Bend laws around you, but I always enjoyed your orbs, & thoughtfulness. Enter our stellar scope to be part of pi, play your bagpipes never cross your legs dangle away cause no one else is wearing kilts , to growth, green thumbs, and forever reading our past and futures, stone, & crystals

Since the day his son William brought me home to met him he considered me his daughter. He loved me and my son like family.  He was an amazing father.  he was my tutor in math and in life. He had an amazing energy and I always looked forward to speaking to him. I just wish we had more time. I miss you and I hope you knew that I loved you too. I will always remember you, you will always be in my heart. Thank you for everything. I hope you can find peace. 

No one was a better friend. Steve was a warrior, though he abhorred violence.  He was always ready to defend those in need, but ready to embrace and love just as easily. He was a Wiccan, proud of his past lives, and enjoyed seeing people uncomfortable with his appearance and beliefs probably because you’d be hard pressed to find anyone less judgmental. He was an artist, creative and loving, a revolutionary and had the very kindest, most passionate heart. I’ll carry him with me and honor his memory by trying to live up to his example. 

Thank you for being a loving Father. For supporting me through my endeavors. I miss you and always will miss you my dear father. I love you. 

Steve had a presence that was larger than life. His energy entered the room long before he did.  He will be remembered for the good he did in life - his intelligence and knowledge that he shared freely. He always had a yarn to spin, a clever retort at the ready; never a dull moment with Steve. Goodbye old friend, and may your next journey make you smile.
