Rosanne Costello

Rosanne (Ragusa) Costello passed away peacefully on November 2, 2015, after suffering many years due to a rare neurodegenerative brain disorder. She was the beloved wife of Vincent Costello, devoted mother of Victoria and Anthony Costello, middle sister of the late Susan Camenzuli and Judy DeMarco and daughter of the late Rocco and Emma Ragusa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Rosanne was a kind, generous, and loyal friend who loved to have fun and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She was affectionately referred to as "crazy Aunt Roe" by her nieces and nephews and was responsible for creating memorable adventures and activities for her children and their cousins growing up. She was devoted to helping others and participated in yearly breast cancer walks. She worked in the Westport public school system for many years in food service and then as a paraprofessional, working with children who had autism as a one-on-one aid. She was a truly devoted woman who put her children, family and friends before herself and did everything in her power to improve the lives of others. Her contagious laugh, fun-loving spirit, and dedication to her family will be painfully missed every day but never forgotten. She will be loved, cherished and remembered always by those who were lucky enough to know her.
