Born In Rockchapel, Co. Cork, Ireland
Her father was David Stack and her mother was Jane Stack (Curtin)
She was the youngest of eleven children of which three came to the United States
She received primary education in Ireland
Came to the US and studied to become a LPN at St. Clare’s Hospital in New York City
She married Maurice (Mossie) Collins on June 20, 1953
She worked while raising a family and worked as a nurse at Astoria General Hospital, Boulevard Hospital, Lyden Nursing Home and several doctor’s offices
She and Mossie spent most of their married life in Astoria Queens
She had four children, William, David, Larry (deceased) and Maureen
She has ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren
She loved Irish dancing.
