Maria G. Evangelista of Long Island City New York entered into eternal rest on March 28, 2014. Maria was born on November 8, 1929 in Italy to Guiseppe Lombardi and Victoria Giorgio. Maria will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday and Tuesday March 31, & April 1, 2014 from 2-5:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral mass will take place on Wedensday April 2, 2014 10:30am at Saint Mary's Roman Caholic Church. Interment to follow at Saint Raymond Cemetery located in Bronx, New York. Arrangements under the direction of Thomas M. Quinn & Sons, Astoria, NY.
