Filipa Lilia Diaz 87 years old of Astoria, passed away on January 11th, 2017. She was born in Santa Clara, Cuba on April 11th, 1929. She was married to Serafin R. Diaz in 1954. Lilia worked as a Floor Lady for a Coat Factory. She was a member of Raices in Long Island City. She had a passion for sewing, knitting and cooking. She was survived by her children, Seri Diaz and Ana Lapi, 4 grandchildren and Pablo Grisdia in Cuba.
