Joseph Fahey

Joseph Fahey, age 86, of Patchogue, New York passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Joseph was born September 6, 1935 and raised in New York City and was a New Yorker through and through. He was the youngest of 5 children. His siblings, Michael "Buddy" Fahey, Theresa Kopilak, Kathleen Hirt, and Francis Fahey are all awaiting him with open arms, as is his beloved wife, Domenica "Mimi" Fahey. He is survived by his two children, Peter Fahey, and Annmarie Brand, and 3 grandchildren, Cheryl, Melissa, and Peter, Jr.

He was a loyal member and supporter of the Catholic War Veterans and the Knights of Columbus and was a Past Grand Knight. He was a diehard Giants, Islanders and Mets fan and in his later years loved to play Bingo and sing karaoke. He will also be remembered for his sparkling blue eyes and a smile that could light up a room. He touched so many lives and will be sorely missed.

A gathering for Joseph will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Conway Funeral Home, 41- 45 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377. A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at Our Lady of Fatima, 2502 80th Street, East Elmhurst, NY 11370. A laid to rest will occur Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery - First Calvary, 32-02 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101.
