John Patrick Murphy of Astoria, New York entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2015. John was born on April 30, 1935 in Jamaica, New York to Edward Murphy and Rose O'Neil. John will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 15, 2015 from 2-5:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday April 16, 2015 9:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery located in Calverton, New York.
