Catherine Therese White Radvansky, 75, of Bayside, New York, passed away June 7, 2016. She was born in Bloomfield, Indiana on November 3, 1940. Catherine graduated from beauty school in Hollywood, Florida and received her Cosmetology License. She was first married to Francis White in 1956, and the two had seven children together. She survived her husband, Francis, her son, Daniel Eli and her daughter, Victoria. She later re-married David Radvansky, and the two had a beautiful daughter named Faith. She also became a mother to Paul and Dave Radvansky.
She worked as a hairdresser and enjoyed a short modeling career, even after having seven children. She gave her life to the Lord in 1968 and lived a life of faith, despite her many trials and tribulations. She had a passion for the Lord and delighted in ministering the Word of God to anyone she came in contact with. Her ministry was like no other. She would gladly make you a home cooked meal. She was not afraid to give you a massage and a bear hug in the name of Christ. She opened her home to anyone that came by and she brought many people to church with her.
She is survived by her children: Frank, John, Chris, Andy, Paul, Bill, Dave, and Faith; her grandchildren: Anderson, Adrianna, Aaron, Christopher, Daniel, Lindsey, Angela, Andrew, Kimberly, Justin, Jordan, Jae Lynn, Joey, Sidney, Daniela, Dave, Mark, Robert, Tyler, Ethan, Hope, and Matthew; and her siblings: Cecil, Marilyn, and Louis.
If we were to use one word to describe Cathy, it would be Love. Her desire for each of us would be that we live a life pleasing to God so that we are sure of our spot in heaven because the things of this world pass away quickly and the only thing that remains is where we spend eternity. She was loved by many and she will be dearly missed. Her smile was infectious and she spread the love and joy of Jesus everywhere she went.
