Catherine Schultz

Catherine Schultz passed away peacefully at home at the age of 97 on September 26, 2019. She was born and raised in Queens, NY and was a long time resident of the Boulevard Gardens. In her younger years Catherine was employed in a bookbinding factory and for the city parks. She volunteered for many years reading to and with elementary students at a local school and was most proud when she received her 25 year volunteer pin. She also volunteered at the food pantry at Corpus Christi Catholic church for many years. She loved word searches and the senior outings at the Boulevard Gardens.

Catherine was well taken care of for many years by her beloved caregiver Mimi and more recently Marcy. Catherine always commented “I have a lot to be thankful for, and I’m so lucky to have my Mimi.”

Catherine is predeceased by her parents Susan and Gustavo Schultz, her twin Charles Schultz, and siblings Marie Geraghty, Jack Schultz, Walter Schultz and William A. Schultz. She is survived by her sister in law Anne Schultz, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
