I also grew up near the Zellmers and like Cathy was the only girl with four brothers. But boy did my brothers and the older Zellmer boys tease me, of course I was shrimp and could be a pest sometimes. 

Tom did not tease me however.  He was a kid with few words, but he was always accepting and kind to me. 

Tom, perhaps because of dealing with a chronic illness, was wise and thoughtful. He was a loyal friend to many as evidenced by his long standing relationships. May you rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, even the boys that teased me. :)


Tom was a great neighbor. Always helping others, especially during the tough Minnesota winter season.  He was always busy as a beaver. We will miss him alot and we are so very sorry for your loss. 

Tom and I are cousins growing up we attended grade school and then Jr. High together and then my family moved out of the area and we lost touch unfortunately. 
 Tom and I  had many mutual friends back in the day, some of my best memories are with Tom and that bunch of boys that hung out at the  Schlomkas.
  Thanks for the memories. 

Growing up on Sunnyhill Drive/Military Road with the Zellmers just down the road was our childhood. Tom was part of the pack of boys that came over to hang out around the garage with my brothers. Riding bikes in a pack or driving/riding something with a motor.  Always boys all over the place, always!
