Russell W. Johnson

Born July 17, 1937, Passed away on Friday March 27, 2015. Russell is preceded by Clarence N. Johnson and Mary Ann Johnson. He is survived by his daughters, Renee Ashmore, and Cala (Trent) Iverson; and his grandchildren Sophie and Seaden. He is further survived by 2 siblings, Marlys Johnson, and Mary Jo (Mike) Burress; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Patrick, Malaine, Anna; and other relatives and friends. Russell was a veteran of the US Air Force, and he later enjoyed fishing and photography, as well as sightseeing and just going for a drive. He also loved to collect coins and agate stones and other rocks as well as oftentimes you would catch him doing a crossword puzzle. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury. Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A requiem mass will be held at 9:00 am on Monday April 13 at Church of All Saints, 435 4th St NE, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
