Born August 26, 1926, in St. Paul, Minnesota, son of the late Raphael Louis Juaire and Henrietta Doneau.
With Henrietta’s untimely passing, Bob and other siblings moved to St. Joseph’s Orphanage in St. Paul, where he was cared for by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and attended Cretin High School. Eventually Raphael Louis, purchased a farm on the east side of St. Paul and moved him and other siblings. Bob graduated from Harding High School in 1944.
Bob married ‘the love of his life,’ Jean Marie Nissen at Church of St. Marks in St. Paul in 1950. In 1954, the family moved into a house that Bob built on a wooded lot adjacent to the family farm. There they raised 9 children, multiple dogs, hosted many family outings, and created a destination for many friends.
His work experience included livestock and vegetable farmer, butcher, plow driver and street maintenance with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and retiring after 47 years with Metropolitan Airport Commission as a Senior Maintenance Engineer.
Bob was a devoted catholic, he practiced his faith at St. Louis King of France Church. He was a Eucharistic Minister, a church elder, and oversaw the church facility engineering and maintenance.
Preceded in death by wife, Jean Marie (2001), daughters Jean, Jacqueline, and son Mark Louis; siblings Margaret, Delphis, George, Jean and Paul.
Survived by his children Robert ‘Bobby’, George, Jeanne (Scott) Jorgenson, Laurie, Roger (Susan), and Jacqueline (Roland) Haglund; Grandchildren, Jeannette (Scott) Riedel, Michael, Mark (Kelly), Jason Jorgenson, Nicole (Ryan) Brown, Kyle Duryee, Becky, Nikole (Adam) Gartner, Jeff Haglund; Great Grandchildren Audrey, Elizabeth, Brantley, Mary, Jackson, Lilliana, Lexi, River, and Reed.
