Died suddenly at her home on March 8, 2012. She was a beloved Wife, Mom & Grandma, and a world traveler - having been on 20 cruises and spending 185 days at sea. Peggy was a graduate of St. Catherine’s College. She was preceded in death by father, Urban Cooney. Peggy is survived by her husband Jim; sons, Matt (Renae) of Cottage Grove MN and Tim (Kerry) of Hudson WI; grandchildren: Emily, Tyler, and Justin; mother, Dorothy Jolly of Mesa AZ; sisters, Suzie (Charlie) Babcock and Jolene (Bob) Kortan, both of Phoenix AZ; brother, Greg Cooney of Mankato MN; nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. Peggy's life will be celebrated at a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 13 at St. Ambrose of Woodbury, 4125 Woodbury Drive. Visitations: one hour prior at Mass at church, and on Monday, March 12, 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
