Although it was years ago, I remember Mary, when we both worked for Parks and Rec out of St. Paul.
She always remembered everyone's birthday; she had treats out on her desk for Valentine's Day; she was so well thought of.  We had many a good chat on the phone about what all was going on in our department.
She had such a beautiful cheerful smile.
Rest in peace, Dear Mary.

It's a while back, but I remember Mary's beautiful smile during the days we both were working at Parks and Rec out of St. Paul.
Although it's years ago, she always remembered everyone's birthday, she had treats on her desk for Valentine's Day.  She was such a smiling,  cheerful woman.  We had many chats on the telephone.
She was very well thought of during those years at Como.

To the Roppeau and Holmberg families:  I was stunned and saddened to hear the news about Mary.  I have such wonderful memories of all our years together at St. Pascal's and the friendship we shared there, and then on to Hill-Murray together.  I will always remember Mary as a talented musician, among other things.  She was the only one gifted and confident enough to play the organ at all-school masses...in grade school!!   You are all in my thoughts and I pray that God brings you comfort and peace and healing in the midst of your overwhelming sorrow.

We never met,but you have special place in my heart !

So sorry to hear about Mary, so sudden, such a shock. We shared great times in music and theater at HM. My deepest sympathy to the Holmberg and Roppeau families.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  Such an early and unexpected loss makes us all reflect on how delicate and fleeting life can be.  May your good memories carry you through this difficult time and your love for Mary warm your hearts.  The loved ones we've lost don't go away, they are all around us to carry us through each passing day.  The happiness and laughter they brought into our lives will always be with us.

I am so stunned and sad to hear of Mary's passing. I have such good memories of playing with her (along with Peggy, Kitty and Lynn) when I came to St. Paul to visit. She was a beautiful girl and I hope the good memories stay with you, as they will with me.

When ever I think of you Mary...it is always a big smile on your face and your humor!  You will be greatly missed!!  I am sorry we did not get to reconnect face to face again... I will pray for your family during this difficult time.

I lost contact with Mary 7 or 8 years ago - Does anyone know how she passed away? Her obituary only said 'suddenly' and that has left me puzzled and wondering what happened to such a beautiful lady and friend

I am just so saddened to hear of this loss. Having a son that is the same age and goes to school with Shannon makes this all hard to imagine. I know who Mary and Fred are but know Shannon a little better from school. Mary should know what a tender heart her daughter has. She has been good to my daughter Molly. Molly still has pitures that Shannon had drawn hanging in her room and that Shannon made Molly feel comforted when she invited her to sleep next to Shannon at a birthday party. Signes of good parenting. I truly can not imagine the pain Shannon is feeling. I am so sorry and wish I could help! I know Mary was so proud of Shannon, she always sat as close as she could at school events. You could see the joy in her face. Shannon, continue to make your mom proud. Face the day knowing that you have people that love you. Keeping you all in my prayers.

I will always remember Mary as the fun loving girl that she was. Especially the call I recieved when Lynne was in labor with her first baby!! What a HOOT!
