Laura was born and raised in California until Paul, her “sent-man”, whisked her off her feet and brought her to the Midwest where she raised their three daughters. After her nest was empty, the sunshine beckoned to her again and she and Paul spent many years living in Clearwater, Florida.
It was always her dream to be a mother and she considered it her highest calling. She was also an amazing baker and loved to shower people with sweets although she never ate them herself.
Even more than she loved her family she loved Jesus Christ and it was evident in everything she did. Many people received her precious little cards with scripture, words of love, encouragement, and unending puns to be signed lovingly with X’s and O’s.
Laura is survived by her siblings: Louise Phillips, Carol (Jeff) Shaver, and John (Cynthia) Phillips. Her husband, Paul. Her daughters, Olympia/Pamela (Cassian) Sentman-Sibley, Nan (Clay) Schultze, and Janet (Todd) Ericson. Along with 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
Her service will be held Saturday, October 10th at 2pm. Bethlehem Baptist Church
North Campus, 5151 Program Ave, St. Paul, MN 55112
