Age 87

Of St. Paul, Minnesota; Cumberland, Wisconsin; & Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away peacefully at her home on August 26, 2012. Retired after 22 years as an Executive Administrative Assistant at 3M. Lifetime member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Loved to sing & play the piano; sang in the 3M choir, organ player & choir director at the original St. Ambrose. Won ribbons for her counted cross-stitch works & was an excellent cook. Her loving smile & positive outlook will be forever missed. Preceded in death by her Husband of 64 years, Louis A. Schuweiler in March; Parents, Octavio & MariaDomenica (Da Bruzzi) Savina; Siblings, Julia Richie, Robert Savina & Lillian Siraco; and Grandson, Tommy Nakanishi. Survived by six children, Gary (Salie) of Owatonna, Laura (Fred) Nakanishi of Atlanta, Alan (Susan) of St. Paul, Lew “L.G.” (Diane) of Lake Elmo, Jo Ann (Mark) Gleason of Racine, WI & James (Kim) of St. Cloud; 15 Grandchildren, Joe, Paul, Peter, Jamey, Lisa, Lucas, Brian, Samuel, Matthew, Tracy, Laura, Anthony, Audrey, Michael & Charles; Eight Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Ottavio Savina; Nieces, Nephews, Extended Family & Friends. Special thanks to the caring staff of Boutwells Landing. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Friday, August 31 at St. Ambrose of Woodbury Catholic Church, 4125 Woodbury Dr., with visitations one hour prior to Mass at church & Thursday, August 30 from 4 to 7 PM at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr. Interment at Fort Snelling.
