Known as “Honey” to many while growing up in the low country, Laura was a native Charlestonian and Mount Pleasant resident. She was voted “Most Athletic” in high school, served as Captain of the girls’ basketball team, and held the title of the Homecoming Queen. She often reminisced and shared stories about growing up in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant and her love of the ocean. This would later carry over into her many works of art, including her poetry and paintings.
Laura was a dance therapist who inspired many. Her love of music continued through life movement, and she was passionate about the arts. She enjoyed writing, reading, painting, poetry, as well as holding a love for classic cinema.
It’s hard to find the right words to describe someone so indescribable…she truly was one of a kind. Her laughter and sense of humor will surely be missed. She enjoyed the long-lasting connections she made with friends and being surrounded by her loving family. We miss her more than words can say and know she is dancing somewhere over the rainbow.
An open house memorial celebration will take place on October 14, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. It will be held at the home of Laura's Granddaughter, 8394 Russel Ave., Woodbury, MN 55125. She will be laid to rest with James in Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
In honor of Laura, the family is encouraging those in attendance to incorporate her favorite color, pink, into their wardrobe.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.WulffWoodburyFuneralHome.com for the Logan family.
