Jeffrey L. Smith

Jeffrey is survived by his mother Phyllis and step father John Brenneman; children: Jeff Smith Jr., Andrea Richardson, Kyle (Bri) Richardson, Tiffany Pierson and Tonya (Justin) Lentz; 13 grandchildren; siblings Valerie Miller, Kim (Dave) Zrust, Mitchell Zwieg and Michele (Darreck) Lisle; long-time girlfriend Laurie Biever numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Zwieg, brother Timothy Smith, maternal grandparents, aunts and nephew Alex.

Growing up Jeffrey was a hockey player, throughout his adult life he enjoyed playing on softball teams. He loved riding his Harley. Jeffrey had a heart of gold and was a very loving and giving person. He loved his family deeply and especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 5th, 2022 Social gathering at 10:00am, service at 11am followed by luncheon at Newport United Methodist Church 1596 11th Ave Newport, MN 55055, a livestreaming option will be available.
