It's hard to believe you're gone a year already, brother. I think of you often, and  miss our little chats. I'm sure you're up in Heaven playing the piano and singing your heart out. Say hi to Dad and Mom and Aunt Helen and Uncle George. I  miss you.  

Erin, Phoenix, and Jason..........I got the reminder for your Dad's 1 year milestone........I can  never forget your Dad as he was a major influencer in my life.    Thinking of you all with love today.

I so well remember the times I talked with Jeff as he launched Elan.  He enriched my life by introducing me to the St. Paul Rotary #10 Club in about 1981.  He lives with those of us who cherish his memory.   

Jeff and I have the same dad, so technically, we were "half siblings", but we never talked that way. We never said "hey, half sister, or hey, half brother". He was my brother. I remember the first time I met Jeff. He came to our house in Chicago and I was about 11.  We sat at the dining room table and talked about everything. When I married in 1970, my first husband (Don) and I went to St Paul for our honeymoon, so my husband could meet Jeff and Diane. What a fun trip! In later years, we grew closer and spoke often on the phone, reminiscing about Dad, my Mom and brother Mike, and life in general. He visited us in Arizona not too long ago, and I'm so thankful he did. We had a wonderful time. I loved his piano concerts over the phone, along with conversations about "The Pic", his latest invention.  Jeff, my brother, you're finally at home. Till we meet again, I love you.

I will miss your smiling face, open arms, and always your sweet kiss. Many a late night you would play and sing all my requested songs and you would say Jeanne Marie, you always want the same ones and I would say yes I do because you play them so well. A compassionate, caring soul with an open door for family and friends. You were more like a brother than a cousin and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to call you family. Love always, Jeanne.

Jeff was my half brother. Same father, different mother. I remember when I was young he would come to visit us driving his Buick Riviera and he would want to take out the whole family to dinner. Our father was a very strict man so I know he wanted to impress him. Jeff did very well in business. He was very driven. He and I were never very close but I know he cared about me. In his later years we would talk a lot about our father and God and I sensed he knew he didn't have a lot of time left. I hope God has welcomed him into heaven. He deserves it. Rest In Peace my brother.

I first met Jeff while repping for a cosmetic line that he purchased for his Tanfastique  locations.   From there he convinced me to manage his new endeavor "Elan Studio for Hair"  He was a tough boss........but one I learned from and together we embarked on a friendship that was a back and forth growing experience.   What other boss shuts the business down to do hair on location for my sons wedding and then shuts down again for my young husbands funeral.   He supported me wholeheartedly for my own business venture .   So thanks Boss...........see you again someday!

I knew him as Uncle Jeff, even though he was my mom's cousin. I have so many wonderful memories, from the huge 4th of July parties, listening to him play the piano and singing for hours, visiting him at Bandana Square, to spending a Christmas with him in Disney World.  One thing is for certain, he LOVED his family. It breaks my heart that he has transitioned from this world, but my heart also celebrates his reunion with the loved ones that transitioned before him. I know he was met with rejoicing. Until we meet again, rest well Good Boy.

I will so miss our conversations, be it religion or our other favorite subject my husband. Jeff was such a dear and loving friend to my husband John and to me especially after his death. No matter where either if us were we would always keep in touch and check on each other. I know he was looking forward to going home and the earthly burdens lifted. God speed and thank you dear friend.

Growing up with Erin, Phoenix and Jason, I have fun memories of Jeff. He was the coolest dad. He was the best dressed with his timeless loafers. He had the best hair (of course) and he drove the fanciest car. I admired his work ethic and the way he thought big. I’m so sad to hear of his passing, but thankful to have known him. Sending all of my love to the family. 

i have known jeff since i was 16 years old. i went to high school susan arth with him, since then we have life long friends .  my sympathy to his family, and all the lives he touched.  i will miss him dearly.                    susan arth
